I strongly suspect that this sign is from Australia. Road trains are quite common in the outback and I remember seeing similar signs along the road there (and on the trucks themselves). Another give away that this is not from the USA is the word Metres. The USA uses feet almost exclusively in measurements, but if using Meters it would be spelled with er not re.
